Heya junzy. thanks for the rice table on sunday. it was gRRRReat! i enjoyed myslef an awful lot! i love food and wow, though i must admit, i should really stop overeating. then i can wear all my nice clothes, which are hiding in my cupboard! they are crying out: 'Zhiwei, my owner! why are you not wearing us! we want to be on you! please lose weight and wear us!'

yes, so i need to stop overeating. but anyway, that was a great lunch with xudes lion and junz at Rice Table. and the haircut was great too! yay! ok thats all for now. back to company law!

i am studying in the library now but for the past 2 hoursor so have been really restless and i can't seem to get much work done. well, at least i have completed what i wanted to do. i think the mortgages chapter took too much off my brain power. anyway, i was just thinking random thoughts and reminded of this verses my mum messaged me. there were also on Gerald's msn nickname. this is for all my friends who are weary, lost, waiting, and just in turmoil or not good state. Thank You Lord for revealiong Your mercy and everlasting truth!
I take this beautiful excerpt from Saint Paul's letter to the people in Philippi.

Philippians Chapter 4, verses 4-7:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

i think sometimes it is so very hard to quantify what it means that 'God's peace' will come upon us. it is just so ...IFFY it seems. what are we talking about when 'our hearts and minds will be guarded'? I can never explain it in words, at least not for now. But rest assured that i too have doubts on God occasionally and this 'peace' thing that we Christians talk about. Seems so flimsy and all.

However, when God comes upon you, you know at that moment, God is real. The feeling/phenomenon cannot be explained in English, nor any other language(i think). when it comes, you just know. i am a doubting Thomas, I AM. but God spoke AGAIN during worship last night at cell and i know that HE is real.

So for those friends, especially jaded christians, please dont give up your hope. continue seeking, and God will refresh and renew you. as for any of you who want to talk to me about my faith and why i believe etc etc, do feel free to call or sms or email or comment me or anything. i LOVE to discuss and talk about Christianity and what it entails. it is not a religion.

Anyways..yea let's go JB! Soon! When?!? Am quite tired of working..will cya guys in church tmrw with Xudes..let's discuss then..yay! Let's go man! Let's go! Hee..recognise the photo below? That's Patong Beach in PHUKET!! Have any of you been there? Phuket is cheap and relaxing..quite shiok. And.. I'm going to Phuket this Fri to Sun with colleagues...some team-bonding thingy..

Btw,..am not excited about it..only looking forward to the cheeeep massages, spa, thai food and the getaway from Singapore. And talking about this trip..I'm gonna bring up an issue that's been disturbing me for some time..It's a girl thing la..but I just feel like ranting about it.

Since I started really working, having to mingle with the office/banking crowd..I'm starting to really feel that society is sooo like..yucks..what's going on man!!! As in..for example in the office, the girls sometimes get HARASSED by the guys..Well I"m not sure if it's just me being sensitive or if it's the norm..but it's quite distrubing to me man! Like...when guys get a little touchy feely...girls just go along with it and join in or encourage it..then guys think they can continue..and do it to other girls too. Because after all, so far, no girl has said the word "no". So they continue! And other girls who aren't comfortable with it kenna the same. I'm one of them and I feel like the minority. Am I being a prude? Too conservative? Too sensitive? And ohmygosh these days, the girls are getting looser.

Actually..I've voiced this out to them before when some guy started getting touchy at work. So it's not as if I've never mentioned it. But they continue. It's sick. I hate it that sometimes I've to pretend I'm ok with it when a colleague puts his arm around my shoulders and laughs as if it's totally normal to do that. What the hell, do I even know you well??? Even my long time friends don't do that! (refering to you kias) Or at times, it's the way they talk. Like e.g. "thankew for helping me horrr...you're my favourite girl you know..when we go phuket..you must wear a bikini ok!!! Pleeassseeee??" Oh man..it's just sick...maybe it's because they're quite ah beng..go night club sing karaoke type..

Then some more!! the way they decide who shares hotel room with who, is to draw lots. So the girls have no choice but to share room with guys. Which makes the guys realllly excited.

Xudes tells me..that's just the way it is..that's what society is out there..I've to open my eyes and see how the world functions. No choice. Which is true. Especially in the working society. I just hate that I've to put up with it in the office everyday. And even more in Phuket.

Anyways..this post has nothing against the male species..just in case..haha..cos all of u in this blog are guys..I'm just disgusted with society these days..especially since I'm exposed more to it now that I'm working. And I just had to tell someone about it!

Ok!! Enough of that!! haha..eh! I just bought a new camera! Upgrade a bit la..haha..Am really happy with this one this time..won't be changing it anytime soon anymore!!! tada!! Am determined to get a good camera because I had a horrible one in Canada which didn't take good shots. Many memories of the places Xudes and I visited were not well taken. So sad..haiz..so it won't happen again! This camera will do it! Especially since I hope and wish my trip to Europe next year will come true...*dream*
